Finally Some Good News!!

First of all I totally forgot to post the link for Mark and Kim with Baby Zach:

We found out today that Greg's layoff is "temporary" and that the "new contract changes" haven't yet taken effect, therefore Greg will get paid most of his wages during the layoff. Whew. So....Europe here we come!! Hooray for good news!!

On top of that, he is at home everyday playing "house-husband" so laundry's going, dishes are getting washed and projects are getting accomplished! Wow, to have 2 months off to get things done and get paid, what a dream! I wish I could be there too, however I am just a phone call away :)
I seem to be able to direct the workforce over the phone quite well!

So that is our refreshing news for now. Keep fingers crossed that when Chrysler turns into Fiat the transition will be smooth and Greg will continue to have a job.

Update

Zach is doing as well as can be expected. And right smack dab in the middle of it all...he is cutting a tooth! Poor Guy. Please read here to get details and make comments. Even if you don't know them, they appreciate the kind words and thought. Its a distraction in the middle of the night for them to read.

On another note we have had so much loss recently with close friends and family loosing loved ones. Most recently my brother -in-law Roger lost his Aunt last night unexpectedly. Just want to let them know we are thinking about them and sending lots of love from Michigan. Please keep them all in your prayers.

I will be glad when our post turns into a happy post...Greg was laid off today. Hopefully for no more than 60 days. What a turmoil we will be in if it is long term. Please keep us in your prayers as well. Maybe it really isn't in the cards for us to go to Europe after all?!!

I will try to find happy news to share tomorrow. So much doom and gloom a person can take and share! Love to all.
